I started this project by photographing stars from my balcony in Eugene, OR. I Took 80 pictures on a Canon SL1 at a 30-second shutter speed and 10 consecutive shot setting. Next, I used Adobe Bridge and Photoshop to combine all of my photos and get a dashed star-trail effect.
I projected the image onto the wall in my bedroom and used photoshop to keep the image off of the bed. I photographed the final image at an 8-second shutter speed and used Photoshop to finalize it.
When I was little I wanted a star projector, but never got one. This project turned that dream into a reality. I basically turned my apartment into a planetarium all weekend.
